Klaus is here – and we are Klaus! We’ve prepared a performance, but there’s a problem: the fun gets out of hand. Some take up too much space, there’s no room for others, and yet a gap remains. The Klaus! collective uses acrobatics, dance and theatre to show the challenges of the group discovery process in a humorous and honest way.
The 35-minute journey invites the audience to think along with them.

Klaus! collective is a new performance group formed in September 2024. The urge to create a show together arised from a fun training session and falafel meeting in Berlin. Without any external funds, the original 9 people spent two weeks in residency, created a 30-min show and performed it twice at Montelino in December 2024. Since then this project will continue in different versions.
Six out of the nine people decided to continue the process of creating an artistic one-hour long touring show together and are in the process of setting up the whole structure of securing fundings, finding common values, cooperation partners and refining the show’s concept.
The nine people project will continue as an ongoing open training, exchanging and quick fun show producing social project which might even grow to a bigger team.
